We will pick you up at the hotel in Kisoro in the morning at 6:00 am and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the long-awaited gorilla trekking. When we arrive at the national park gate, we will start the registration process, followed by a short briefing by the national park guide. The briefing covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The gorilla trek can take a few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. Upon sighting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. Observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is a humbling and awe-inspiring experience. You’ll find yourself mere meters away, watching them play, groom, and showcase their innate social behaviors. The beauty and tranquility of these creatures are something that words cannot fully capture.
